Escola Portuguesa de Moçambique (Portuguese School of Mozambique)

Portuguese public schools abroad constitute one of the structuring axes of the Portuguese public education network and fulfill one of the strategic objectives of promoting the Portuguese language and culture in the world, with this role being highlighted in all Portuguese-speaking countries. It is in this context that the Escola Portuguesa de Moçambique ensures the schooling of young Portuguese residents in Maputo, young Mozambicans and those of other nationalities, in accordance with the guidelines and curriculum plans in force in the Portuguese educational system, as well as the responsibility for training teachers in the framework of cooperation with the State of Mozambique.
